* We require the full name and IC or passport number of everyone. * Separate groups of 5 pax each are required to wear colour-coded bracelets to differentiate the different groups. * They are required to wear a mask at all times except while swimming and during consumption of food and drinks. * Different groups are not allowed to swim at the same time. * Different groups must be minimum of 1 meter apart. * Members of the different groups are not allowed to intermingle. * Different groups are not allowed to eat together. * No BBQ is allowed, only pre-packed sandwiches or lunch boxes are allowed. * Self-service buffet lines, live music, radio broadcasts and all forms of television/video screenings and other forms of entertainment such as dancing, darts or karaoke are not allowed on board. Recorded music may be played only as soft background music, not exceeding 60 decibels. * The captain and crew are SDOs. If instructions are breached there will only be 1 reminder. * If the customers are still not cooperative, photos will be taken and MPA will be called in to deal with offenders and the charter will end. * Even when the yacht is on the way back if instructions are breached, relevant enforcement agencies will be called in to access for further action.

Cancellation Policy by The Venue

Cancellation policy: In any event of cancellation, our cancellation policy applies

Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the yacht charter date are subject to 100% of the charter fee, with no refund or rescheduling allowed.
For cancellations made less than 1 month prior to the yacht charter date, full payment of the charter fee will be charged, with a refund of up to 50% allowed at TYC’s sole discretion.
For cancellations made more than 1 month in advance, TYC may, at our discretion, allow a refund of up to 100% of the full charter fee.
All refunds may be made in the form of a cash refund or credit refund.
Cancellations made within office hours count towards the effective cancellation period stated above. Cancellations made after office hours will be counted beginning from the next working day.
Any refund, if applicable, shall only apply to the charter fee component. Charges for food catering or other services will not be refunded should the charter be cancelled for any reason.
TYC will always negotiate with our vendors in the best interests of our clients. Refund decision by vendors may be transferred where possible. Flexibility may be exercised where possible, with special considerations made by TYC at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis.

Rescheduling policy: Any rescheduling of yacht charter is subject to our rescheduling policy. The charterer may reschedule the charter subjected to availability and terms and conditions.

First rescheduling made more than 1 month prior to the charter date is provided free of charge.
Subsequent rescheduling less than 1 month prior to the charter date will incur a 50% charge of the charter fee.
Any reschedules made within office hours count towards the effective rescheduling period stated above. Rescheduling made after office hours will be counted beginning from the next working day.
Should Charterer reschedule a weekend charter slot to a weekday charter slot (from a higher-value charter to a lower-value charter), no refunds (whether cash or credit) on the difference of the charter fees will be provided.
Rescheduled bookings must be placed within 1 month from the original booking date. Otherwise, the booking will be taken as a new request.

An administration fee of $300 applies for each cancellation or rescheduling. An administration fee may be waived subject to special consideration on a case-by-case basis.

GENERAL AND SAFETY

Are there any ice box?

Yes, each yacht have their own individual large ice box which can contain around 40kg of ice. Please note that ice is not included.

Do I need any passport?

No, the yacht will be sailing in Singapore waters. It is required only if you are travelling to other countries such as Indonesia or Malaysia.

I do not know how to swim. Is it safe for me?

The yachts have life vests for all its guests. You can request for a life vest if you wish to take a dip in the sea.

Is there any music on board?

The yacht have its sound system on board and there will be a ear phone jack for you to plug in your phone to play your own music. Some yachts do have Bluetooth connectivity, please, check with the yacht manager or the skipper of your yacht.

Can I bring my pets on board?

Pets such as dog/cats are strictly not allowed on board.

Is a child included in the headcount?

Yes, a child or even an infant is considered as a pax, and will be charged accordingly.

FEES AND PAYMENT

What are the payment terms like? Can I place a deposit?

Full payment is required for the reservation of the yacht charter. Booking shall only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

What is included in the charter fee?

Charter fee includes the services of the Captain, crew, fuel, exclusive use of the yacht during the charter period and its standard water toys. All rates listed are for basic charters only (4-5 hours depending on the yacht). For the standard itinerary. Optional add-ons such as city skyline cruises may still be chargeable, depending on the yacht. Optional add-ons such as BBQ pit and cooking services DOES NOT include food.

CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

What are your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

What happens if it is raining or there is haze?

Do note for wet weather, the Captain will still sail out if it does not pose any safety issues. If it is not possible to sail out, the Captain will try to delay the sail out timing. If it is not possible to sail, the charter will be rescheduled to a later date (subject to availability). No cancellations are allowed. The Captain will decide what is the next course of action. Customers are still required to proceed to the marina and wait for the captain’s final decision.

What other situations will the charter get cancelled?

If there is any unsafe behaviour (e.g. excessive alcohol consumption) of the charter guests during the charter, which shall be at the sole discretion of the captain, there will be no cancellation refund. TYC reserves the sole and exclusive right to recall the vessel upon the forecast or occurrence of severe weather. If charterer elects to prematurely end the charter, the charter is deemed cancelled and there will be strictly no refund. Once the yacht has departed the Marina, the charter is considered to have been fulfilled and no cancellations or refunds are provided.
