Luce Osteria Contemporanea | Private Restaurant for Event KL

After six days of traveling around Malaysia, I was really craving some Western food—especially authentic Italian cuisine. I’ve been to Italy many times and eat Italian food there regularly, so I can honestly say I was impressed. The flavors were incredible! From the first bite, it genuinely felt like I was back in Italy. Everything was fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. (Even better that many restaurants in Italy ). A special thank you to Boza for making the experience even better. His service was exceptional—he was attentive, friendly, professional, and always one step ahead, anticipating anything we might need before we even had to ask. It’s rare to receive such genuine hospitality. I also enjoyed a glass of Chianti Uggiano Vinum Animum Alit, and it was absolutely delicious. It paired beautifully with the meal and was the perfect choice. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Kuala Lumpur. I can’t wait to come back, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Italian food and outstanding service.

One of the best pizzas in KL, from the taste, texture and quality ingredients. Prices are reasonable for the place. Other dishes ordered were the pork ribs and pasta carbonara. Both also very good. The ambiance is cosy, and the service is attentive, prompt and friendly. Reservations recommended.

The place was easy to find. I had an enjoyable evening with my wife. Food was good, portions were shareable. Extensive pizza and wine list! Best pizza I've had to be honest (10/10), it went down easy even though it was filling. The only snag I kept hitting was related to service. While the serving staff are helpful and kind and warm, they are a little too quick for me. It made me feel as if I was being rushed. Not sure why it was happening, but on request, they did pause for other parts of my evening. Eventually, it ended a good night! I'll definitely come back for the pizza and burrata from Puglia!
