Dusk and The Mirabilis Bar @ Mount Faber Peak Event Space

Mt Faber though not very high is really suitable for a good early morning workout, before 8:00 AM I should say. It is quiet enough for walkabout and the tarmac surface is good enough for hilly runs. At the end of the exercise, on the side of Seah I'm Road, there is the Seah Im Food Centre or inside Vivocity but towards Telok Blangah Road and with a little more walking, there's the Alexandra Village hawker centre.

We recently held our wedding lunch at Mount Faber Restaurant, and the entire experience was truly amazing from start to finish. The venue was beautiful, the food was excellent, and everything was very well organized. A special thank you to the manager, who was incredibly attentive throughout the whole event. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail made us feel very assured and taken care of during such an important day. Our guests had a wonderful time, and we are very grateful to the whole team for making our wedding lunch such a memorable and smooth experience. Highly recommended for couples looking for a beautiful wedding venue with exceptional service!

Mount Faber Peak is one of Singapore’s most underrated destinations, combining stunning panoramic views, nature, dining and the iconic cable car experience all in one place After making the climb through the lush greenery of Mount Faber Park, arriving at the peak feels like a reward in itself. The views are spectacular, stretching across the Southern Ridges, Sentosa, Keppel Harbour and the Singapore Strait. Watching the cable cars glide silently across the skyline adds a unique charm to the scenery and creates countless photo opportunities

Mount Faber Peak, is a popular hilltop destination in Singapore. It is located at 109 Mount Faber Road, Singapore 099203. Mount Faber, formerly Telok Blangah Hill, is a hill about 308 ft in height, located in the town of Bukit Merah in the Central Region of Singapore. This placec overlooks the Telok Blangah area and the western parts of the Central Area of Singapore. The summit is accessible by Mount Faber Road or by Mount Faber Loop via Morse Road, but there are many footpaths or trails leading up the hill, like Marang Trail, which leads from Marang Road at the Harbour Front MRT station (Exit D), and the Southern Ridges Park Connector, which connects from Telok Blangah Hill Park, Kent Ridge Park, and Henderson Waves. It is a major tourist attraction, as it provides a panoramic view of Singapore's Downtown Core. It's slope includes a tower that is part of the Singapore cable car system that connects to the Harbour Front and Sentosa. It is accessible from the HarbourFront MRT station. This is the same cable car that me and family took for our joy ride and a look see from the Faber Peak, during our visit to S8ngapore in 2023. In 1972, the government spent S$63,910 to renovate the bunkers and turn Mount Faber into a landscaped scenic spot, plus the construction of the S$2.94 million cable car system, just to link Mount Faber and Sentosa together. The vegetation around Mount Faber is a secondary rainforest that is smaller and less dense than on Bukit Timah Hill. Mount Faber is separated from the adjacent slightly lower Telok Blangah Hill Park by Henderson Road. Standing high above the sea levels, it offers panoramic views of the city skyline, the harbour, and Sentosa Island. The site features dining options, event spaces, and the Bells of Happiness' area too. To get to the Cable Car connection, just board from Harbour Front / Sentosa and alight directly at the Faber Peak station. Or one can access it by car or taxi via Mount Faber Road.

Mount Faber Peak felt like a pretty touristy stop, but the views made it worth it for me. I liked reaching it after a hike up the trail and then continuing on toward Henderson. It’s a nice place to pause, take in the scenery, and start the cable car over to Sentosa. Just be prepared for the usual crowd that comes with a spot like this.
