Tapaz at Tubotel | Oceanfront Restaurant Langkawi

This place is a must visit if you are in Langkawi. The sunset is wonderful. Expect a casual atmosphere with fine dining quality food. Everything we tried on the menu was delicious, we kept ordering more. Best kept secret, besides the food… is the Sangria. Really lovely small family run business with friendly staff. Plan to spend a few hours here, taking it easy and enjoy the fantastic variety of Tapas with Sangria watching the sunset. We were enjoying the food so much, they were all gone before we had a chance to take photos of everything we ate.

This is a ?hidden? Gem. Superb food everything we had was perfect. Tasty, excellently cooked and presented. Peaceful and scenic location once past the driveway entrance (which we weren't sure about at first), but keep walking and you come upon Tapaz Langkawi. Can't recommend enough

Food was really excellent by the chef and his team! Really enjoyed the warm homemade pita bread with chicken liver pate as well as their Baba ganoush. Their feta cheese with watermelon is also a very complementary combo without the cheese tasting overpowering. The popular choice seafood paella really lives up to its name as well without any creamy sauce but just tomato puree base and fresh seafood! The squid is really a must try! We had their signature sangria as well and it was really good - not too strong but enough to make a statement!

What a hidden gem this place is!!! We were apprehensive on the walk down but wow, we shouldn’t have been. The setting is amazing, we were able to enjoy the beautiful Langkawi sunset (with a monkey sitting on the distant rocks)! The menu is extensive, we ordered about 20 different dishes between us and every single one was fantastic, they clearly use high quality ingredients and have exceptionally trained chefs. Our favourite in Langkawi so far, they have little pod rooms on the waters edge too which look like such fun to stay in. Highly recommended!

Must visit place for the best sunsets in town even though we landed here on a cloudy day so couldn’t enjoy it fully. The food, the view, the service… it’s all worth it. We ordered vegetarian tapas along with a pitcher of sangria and a tender coconut. It was our last sundowner in langkawi and we highly enjoyed this place. Highly recommended
