02 March was there at Westgate. Had dinner and drinks. Very nice and always great to be there. "I was there on 28 February 2024. Had a wonderful time as usual. Restaurant manager Adi is an asset to your restaurant. I heard he is moving to Vivocity soon. I am sure and believe it's a promotion for him.I shall visit him there. Thank you again 25/01/2024....Just chilled. Had drinks. Staff were wonderful. My go to place. Highly recommended. 19/01/2024.... I was there again for lunch. The staffs were outstanding. Easy to reserve a table via their website. They have membership programme going on which is greatly attractive with the free birthday cake and free flow alcohol available. The emperor’s pancakes are soft and freshly cooked, tastes wonderful when dipped in the sauces that came with it! Greatly recommend for children as a treat, and for adults as an after meal dessert. I liked that they have platters available for sharing. Service was attentive and prompt, did not feel like we are neglected even though we were seated indoors. As the seating indoors are enclosed, it is easy to overhear the conversations at neighbouring tables (coupled with alcohol). Will return again.

I chose the indoor seating at the Westgate branch, very nice and cosy ambience. The air-conditioning is very cooling too. There's an outdoor seating area too by the way. Seating is comfortable with a long bench and the lighting is very dim. Serving was fast and prompt with a smile. We ordered the famous pork crackling knuckle and the skin is really super crispy, albeit a little hard, but very juicy with oil. 5 stars for this outlet but still decided to rate a 4 star. Nothing wrong with the service or food, it's totally my problem because the portion really is too large. Otherwise, it's really good and must try to everyone.

As my family stepped into the cozy confines of Brotzeit at Westgate, we were greeted by the comforting aroma of hearty German cuisine. My eyes scanned the menu, and my taste buds danced with anticipation. We decided to embark on a culinary journey with two classic schnitzels: the Pork Cordon Bleu Schnitzel and the Grilled Chicken Schnitzel. 1. Pork Cordon Bleu Schnitzel: - The plate arrived, adorned with golden-brown schnitzel, oozing with melted cheese and ham. The first bite was a symphony of flavors—a crispy exterior yielding to tender pork, the cheese adding richness, and the ham providing a salty kick. 2. Grilled Chicken Schnitzel: Alas, my excitement waned as I sliced into the grilled chicken schnitzel. The meat was a tad dry and tough. Perhaps it had spent a little too long on the grill, losing some of its juiciness. The seasoning was spot-on, but the texture left me yearning for more tenderness. 3. Atmosphere : - We opted for the open-air setting, hoping to soak in the natural light and fresh air. However, despite the huge fan, the afternoon warmth persisted. The gentle breeze provided some relief, but I would recommend choosing an indoor spot during the hotter hours. Verdict: Despite the minor hiccup with the grilled chicken schnitzel and the warm outdoor seating, our overall experience at Brotzeit was positive. The warm ambiance, friendly staff, and flavorful pork cordon bleu schnitzel made up for it. Next time, we might stick to the classics and explore other German delights. Prost! 🍻

Ahh, Brotzeit, my current favorite drinking place in the west (because let's face it, I'm too old and demotivated for clubs or pubs these days). It's like the retirement home of drinking spots, but in the best way possible. They have great beers (Erdinger Dunkel, hands down the winner), and their food is top-notch. However, the food is not exactly on the healthy side, but it’s perfect for a drinking session with your friends. If you're looking to tone down your tummy, then, this ain't the place for you. If you're all about combining your love for booze and bites, you absolutely have to order their sausage platter set, which comes with a 3L beer barrel! You can switch up the sides too. Personally, I'd recommend swapping for some creamy mashed potatoes and wedges. You can't forgo those tasty carbohydrates. The only downside is that your wallet might shed a tear or two. Brotzeit seems to have taken "inflation" as their personal motto because the prices keep soaring, just like how I wish my salary would do the same.
