Playground Of Possibilities: Top Meeting Rooms and Event Packages at Singapore EXPO For Every Corporate Occasion
Playground Of Possibilities: Top Meeting Rooms and Event Packages at Singapore EXPO For Every Corporate Occasion

Home to some of the greatest leading events in the world, Singapore EXPO is the country’s largest purpose-built meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions venue. With 10 interconnected halls and 32 meeting rooms across 123,000 square metres, indoors and outdoors, the complex is versatile and scalable.
Top Meeting Rooms for Different Corporate Event Formats
Different rooms within Singapore EXPO suit different points in a corporate calendar. Large plenary halls handle D&Ds, gala dinners, and award nights. Mid-sized rooms support townhalls, sales rallies and training. Smaller rooms keep off-site meetings, workshops, and senior planning sessions focused.
1. Apex @ Hall 1 For Large Plenary Events
Apex @ Hall 1 is a large-format plenary venue for corporate content and celebration. It spans about 7,000 square metres, seats up to 6,078 guests, and features a ceiling up to 16 metres with a 54-metre LED screen. The adjacent Apex Gallery is a versatile pre-function area that can double up as registration, reception, or exhibition space.
Tiered seating and a built-in stage support conferences by day, with banquet layouts for D&Ds, gala dinners, and award nights at night. Apex @ Hall 1 can also anchor a corporate carnival family day programme with shows, games, and prize draws, supported by Apex Gallery for guest flow and fringe activities.
2. Garnet and Peridot Rooms for Mid-Scale Banquets and Townhalls
For mid-scale events, planners often look at Peridot rooms for banquets and Garnet rooms for large townhalls. Garnet rooms cover up to 1,187 square metres, seat up to 1,450 guests, and feature high ceilings with carpeted flooring. Peridot rooms stretch up to 807 square metres and seat up to 828 guests. Both Garnet and Peridot can be combined or split into smaller rooms to fit changing group sizes.
Sales rallies, training days, townhalls, and corporate banquets all sit comfortably in these rooms. Operable walls and acoustic ceilings help with sound control between plenary sessions and side discussions, while a standard AV setup keeps presentations and announcements clear.
3. Tourmaline and Opal Rooms for Training and Offsite Meetings
Teams that need smaller rooms with strong AV often select Tourmaline rooms or Opal rooms. Tourmaline rooms seat up to 125 guests with a floor area of about 100 square metres, and suit compact conferences, senior retreats, and private banquets. Opal rooms reach up to 113 square metres and sit up to 80 guests, working well for seminars that move between plenary and breakout sessions.
Delegates can shift from a morning presentation to lunch and then to smaller workshops without leaving the cluster. This keeps off-site meetings and training on track.
Best Event Packages You Can Book at Singapore EXPO
Beyond rooms and halls, Singapore EXPO runs a suite of event packages that wrap up menus, room usage, and core event services. These packages cover D&Ds, gala dinners, townhalls, corporate team bonding, offsite meetings, corporate carnival family day events, and more.
Chinese New Year Packages
Chinese New Year packages focus on seasonal menus curated by Chef James Tay and Guest Chef Wu Si Han. Corporate reunion dinners can follow a buffet format with a live station for at least 50 guests from $88+ GST per person, with optional lohei platters at $180+ GST per platter.
Six-course and eight-course banquets start from $888+ GST and $988+ GST per table and work well for departments that prefer seated courses.
Event must be held between 1 January to 3 March 2026. Minimum booking of 50 pax. Basic AV inclusions provided.
Banquet Packages
Banquet packages run throughout the year for luncheons, D&Ds, gala dinners, and award nights. Buffets for at least 100 guests start from $86+ GST per person. Eight-course meals start from $1,130+ GST per table of ten.
Packages commonly include basic AV, staging, and set-up time, which helps planning teams create consistent formats for recurring D&Ds and corporate banquets. Many companies settle on one hall or room configuration and repeat it each year with small adjustments.
Carnival Package
The Carnival package focuses on corporate carnival family day events and staff carnivals. Lite and Ultimate tiers run from $48+ GST per person and include light bites, games, and key activity elements.
Large halls host the main stage and core programmes while foyers and side zones hold booths, games, and activity corners. Nearby meeting rooms can function as quiet rooms, nursing rooms, first aid points, and crew bases.
Townhall Package
The Townhall package taps 32 acoustically treated and AV-equipped rooms plus expansive pre-function areas. Attendance can start from 50 guests and scale towards 1,500 across linked rooms and halls, with pricing from $48+ GST per person.
Companies can use combined Garnet and Peridot layouts for the main address, then hold breakouts in nearby rooms. Streaming and recording support allows hybrid events that reach regional offices as well as on-site staff.
Team Building Package
The Team Building package brings together activities, facilitation, a tea break, and meeting room usage. Activities include Adventure Race, The Squid Game Challenge, Race Against Time, Pipeline Adventure, The Domino Adventure, and The Mahjong Challenge.
Each programme supports a minimum of 200 participants from $80+ GST per person. Many corporate teams set a morning briefing in one of the meeting rooms, then carry out challenges across indoor and outdoor areas before returning for a debrief.
Meet & Play Package
The Meet & Play package suits smaller teams that want a tight balance between work and sport. Each package includes two hours of meeting room time at Singapore EXPO and two hours of badminton court booking at SBH East Coast @ EXPO.
Rates start from $200+ GST. Leadership teams and project squads often use this format for off-site meetings that combine planning sessions with casual badminton matches and informal conversations.
How Does Singapore EXPO Support Sustainability and ESG Goals?
Sustainability is now part of venue selection for many companies. Singapore EXPO positions itself as Asia’s Most Sustainable MICE Venue, Powered by Renewable Energy, and backs that claim with several national certifications and clear environmental measures.
- Key Sustainability Milestones and Certifications: The roof holds Singapore’s largest single-site rooftop solar installation with 16,508 panels. Clean energy from this installation powers daily operations and event loads. The venue also holds the Singapore MICE Sustainability Certification at the Platinum tier and the BCA Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy rating.
- Responsible Event Practices Linked To Every Package: Event-level measures include efficient energy use, reduced reliance on single-use plastics, and sustainable sourcing for menus where possible. These practices apply across Chinese New Year, Banquet, Townhall, Team Building, Meet & Play, and Carnival packages.
- Budget Clarity Through Package Pricing: Per-person and per-table pricing gives finance teams clear starting points for annual event budgets. Each package builds a cost ladder by attendance band, which helps HR, marketing, and leadership teams align on scale.
Plan Events At Singapore EXPO
Once event types and rough attendance bands are clear, planners can match formats to packages and rooms. The final step is to confirm dates and share core details with the venue’s event team.
