Tapis Room 2 @ Malaysian Petroleum Club

Been here multiple times since childhood, never disappoints. The place embrace quiet luxury, spectacular dining view, and the food are great. Pricing wise are equal if not less than what you should expect dining at what is supposed to be MPC members only @ 42nd floor. Special tribute to En Syahril and the team for their excellent service delivery 👍🏻.

We went there with 3kids and 4 adults. There are three restaurant 1,French: no kids allowed 2,Chinese: kids are ok. But no pork. No pork no chinese 3,Casual: kids are welcome. We went there (although they claim the Saturday is familly day, you can enter on week days as well. Anyway reaervation is mandatory (telephone only). You dont need be member of any Petroleum company. BE CAREFULL of dress code. We went there with three kids. After I passed my name in the reception in the ground floor, the guy mentioned my kids. They have slippers and short pant. So he asked me to wear long pants or one pieces with sandal. It was my first time to get such comments for kids. So I was suprised (actually no comments for adults. My mon wear sandals although long pants. My dad wear t-shirt without collar although he got long pant and shoe). Then, we went to Uniqlo in ground floor and spend 450rm for three kids. I gave up the shoes but bought the socks. It is weired style but the guy allowed me to enter. We had dinner there, the taste is acceptable but very slow serve. It costed 500rm. It is slightly higher than Uniqlo😅

The Club offers a great dining experience, especially at Temana Brasserie. The food was delicious, with fresh local ingredients and well crafted seasonal menus by Chef Syukur. The atmosphere is relaxed, and it’s a great spot for dining with a view of the city. The view from the club is amazing, adding to the overall experience. The service was friendly and attentive, making the visit even more enjoyable. It’s also a quiet and peaceful place during weekdays, which makes it perfect for a more relaxed meal. Overall, Persona Petroleum Club is a great place for good food, excellent service, and a stunning view.
