Lovely and quiet spot. Elegantly decorated and has a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Service staff was incredibly attentive and kind, our water and tea cups was constantly being refilled. Even helped us to take photos as we were celebrating my mom’s birthday. Food was good tasting. Portions was substantial for the price paid. The 1-1 for both lunch and dinner made it even more worthwhile. We had the fried halibut and California maki for the 1-1. Do note you have to order the exact same item. Portions and food presentation was good even though it on 1-1 offer. There was some hiccups at the end when we were requesting for the bill. Had to asked 4 different staff as we waited close to 15 -20 minutes for the bill which was frustrating. Not sure what happened. And then finally saw the manager keying into a portable payment system to settle payment.

Service is excellent throughout, and a special mention goes to Elaine, the manager. She embodies the kind of silent warmth and effortless hospitality that’s hard to describe… you simply feel it. My personal recommendations: • Edamame with truffle salt A humble appetiser lifted by the fragrance of truffle — light, addictive, and perfect for truffle lovers. • Tuna–avocado–feta sashimi Beautifully fresh and balanced. The salmon with tomato salsa is good too, but the tuna combination truly stands out as the cleaner and healthier choice. • Skinny Me Roll (must-try!) Crabmeat, unagi, avocado, and kimchi rolled together without rice. Full of flavour, satisfying, and excellent value — perfect for anyone who wants something indulgent yet lighter. • Chilled mango gazpacho with yuzu, shiso, and pomelo An invigorating, zesty finale. Refreshing and playful — the perfect “happy ending” to the meal. 🤭 A little insider tip: Go on Mondays — free corkage for two bottles of wine! A fantastic perk that makes the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for diners who appreciate refined Japanese-inspired dishes, thoughtful service, and a tranquil dining atmosphere.

Domo Modern Restaurant offers an exemplary dining experience, striking the perfect balance between modern elegance and culinary excellence, helmed by internationally acclaimed chef Rose Ang, whose culinary expertise has graced renowned kitchens across Europe, Asia, and Australia. It’s a rare find, as it’s pretty new! It’s the same old spot of Inagiku at Fairmont/Swissotel. The journey begins with a long, grand walkway entrance that immediately sets a welcoming tone and imparts a true sense of occasion, making it an outstanding venue for events and client entertainment alike. Chef Rose Ang’s refined touch is evident in every dish—from the exquisitely fresh sashimi andthe delicately flavored Sakura prawns, succulent oysters, sashimi to the soft ribs finished with a truly addictive house sauce—each dish is distinctive, fresh, and artfully plated. You can even ask for items that are not in the menu, they will go full out to fulfill your cravings! The attentive staff demonstrate genuine professionalism and a keen understanding of hospitality, the first drink that the bar whip out after understand our taste was memorable, love the velvet texture with a sake base, the use of orange and yuzu was uplifting! The ambiance is sophisticated and versatile, featuring modern black marble tables (love them!) arranged for both intimacy and privacy, conducive to high-level business meetings, memorable gatherings with friends, or an intimate date night. Spacious table placement and tranquil décor foster a calm, inviting setting that enhances the overall experience. What surprises me is that Zen-ness and a sense of peace is possible in such a huge restaurant. Domo as a venue elevates any occasion and for the value they deliver charging the price they’re offering, its value for money…whether you are closing a business deal (check out their super worth it set lunch), hosting a corporate dinner or event launching your new product, or celebrating personal milestones, friendly for family and big group of friends with their private dining room! Highly recommended for those seeking an impressive venue that consistently delivers on quality, service, and style not forgetting it is conveniently centrally located above City Hall station!

Had a wonderful dining experience at Domo, Fairmont Singapore. Their modern Japanese fusion cuisine is thoughtfully curated, beautifully presented. A standout for us was the Bluefin Tuna Tacos — perfectly crispy, incredibly tasty and honestly a must-order. Each bite was well balanced and absolutely addictive. From the quality of the ingredients to the refined flavours, everything felt elevated yet comforting. A great spot for anyone looking to enjoy quality modern Japanese fusion in a chic setting. Will definitely be back!
