Homeground Coffee Roasters | Intimate Event Space Rental Singapore

Homeground is definitely one of my favourite cafes in Singapore, and one I regularly return to, for three reasons. First, they always offer an interesting selection of different beans, which is regularly refreshed. I don’t think I’ve ever had a below-average coffee from them, whether filter or espresso-based, although once or twice my iced drink was slightly too dilute. Second, their food is perhaps the best I’ve had at a cafe. Whereas many run-of-the-mill establishments slap together some fried eggs, sausages and soggy tomatoes on a plate and charge 26 dollars and a kidney, creativity and thoughtfulness clearly express themselves in Homeground’s menu. I’ve tried a few of their dishes and recall being particularly mindblown by their French toast, with its cloud-soft, maple-infused cubes of golden bread stacked up like the world’s tastiest Jenga. Their fusion pasta (was it seafood laksa..?) was worth a shout too. Their bakes used to be from Woodlands Sourdough (not sure about the latest), which is a solid bakery, though their pastries and cakes lean on the heavier side. Third, it’s elegantly furnished, well-spaced out, and therefore not too difficult to get a seat — especially if you’re a single diner and / or come in the morning as I do. Again, in many other cafes (perhaps as they struggle to keep afloat with rising rent), there is a frustrating lack of ergonomic seating that makes the customers feel that the owners just want you to drink up and go (yes hello Nylon, I’m looking at you), and often my elbows are making friends with the next customer’s elbows. But that’s not the case in Homeground. My favourite thing to do is sit at the bar and watch the baristas make filter coffees with careful concentration. :) All in all, would wholly recommend.

One of the best coffee and cold brew tea that I've ever had! Love the vibes of this place too and how the light comes into the whole cafe. Would definitely be back to try more coffee and tea.

The vibe of this cafe was so good! The staff directly made and poured coffee in front of me. My chosen coffee was a blueberry,mango and earl grey flavor coffee. Their costume were very fashionable. I would like to visit this cafe again. But Be careful,because the .air conditioner was strong.
