We went to this lovely new restaurant at Capitol last night, and were pleasantly surprised by how amazing the food was. Their exceptional service further enhanced our dining experience. Thank you very much to Jerry & crew! You could just tell that every single staff took pride in their work. We started with their signature dish C&C&C&C&C&C Pasta (Crabmeat, caviar, confit lemon, chorizo, capellini & clams). It’s a delicious blend of seafood and flavors, perfectly complemented by a rich lobster bisque. The cold serving enhances the freshness and allows the ingredients to shine. This is one memorable dish for sure. The Hay Smoked Hamachi, served with Kelp Barley, Asian Herb Pesto & Tempura Shiso was another dish that stood out. The Asian Herb Pesto provides a refreshing burst of flavour, further elevating the already well executed dish. Next up was my personal dish of the night, which also happens to be 1 of their signature dish, the Duck Confit. It was served with Wok Hey Rice Noodles, Mushrooms, Petit Pois, Home Cured Egg Yolk & Mirabelle Plum Vinaigrette. The rice noodles blew us away with the super strong wok hei. Only downside was the portion of the rice noodles. Good to know that they have the option of the Wok Hei Rice Noodles as a side dish ($8). I might just top up with that in future. We usually won’t go for steaks, however Jerry convinced us to give their Steak Au Poivre on Hot Plate a try. It sure didn’t disappoint! The Wagyu steak was cooked to perfection. Knowing it’s my birthday month, they surprised us with a lovely dessert, Truffle & Tulakalum (Fresh Truffle, Truffle ice-cream, 75% Valrhona Dark Chocolate Ganache, Chocolate Mousse, Mushroom Soil & Lemon Verbena). There was actual truffle shavings on the truffle ice-cream! It was a very unique flavor, we loved it! What a lovely dining experience. We will definitely be back!

The food by Chef Dylan is indeed well-though through and showcases his passion towards delivering creative yet scrumptous food. The service team also aims to make customers feel at home and took time to explain & recommend the menu to us. A place to visit for both good food & service.

Loved the last dining experience I had at its old Beach Road location a few years back (purple cabbage, crab kueh pie tee, bread etc was fabulous), and I was delighted to read that it’s moved to the Capitol, which is more accessible. The food is still good though the serving size seems a tad smaller compared to the past. The duck confit is still very good and I absolutely loved the Kway Teow that had such a wonderful wok hei (if only I could order a plate of it on its own, granted that the serving with the duck was tiny). Burrata cheese with a thai green curry sauce was delicious as well! It was savoury yet refreshing at the same time, and I liked the play on the flavours. Prices are still ok considering its expensive location, so it’s still worth a try!

Went in for the executive set lunch. The set lunch is quite a good value because you can throw in some other items like oysters and wine for a slightly cheaper unit cost than if you order it ala carte. The oyster was yummy. And wine was very decent for a house pour. We had the duck confit and the pasta. Pasta was nice. The mash for duck confit was a bit processed. I’m a potato fan but couldn’t really eat this. But otherwise it was a decent meal. Not sure if I’d go back but it was a good first time
