3.5 stars. Come here for the 20 minute mermaid shows! The main attraction is definitely the kid-friendliness and the vibes. The mermaids (and merman!!) are so pretty, complete with fantasy music and beautiful lighting in the bar. Some of them had really white and interesting makeup lol looks abit like ghosts. And the tank is abit small behind the stage so abit awkward to view. But I like how they take turns swimming around and doing some choreography! Makes for a nice birthday celebration or an outing with kids! The live band is pretty good too. Sing verrry well and overall fun energy. We ordered their cocktails: Endless ocean and mermaid's tears I think. Not enough alcohol taste and not worth! Hmm overall the mermaid show justify the high prices. But not that sustainable. We came on a Weds night and Orto itsef was just quite empty. Sad that they moved here and theres just very little customers at haw par villa. I liked the kahtib one more.

A great place to dine and watch live band performance. Only had some drinks after dinner else where. Entered out of curiosity and paid for 2 drinks. The live band is nice but is mainly focused on mandarin pop (based on day of my visit). This is followed by the mermaid performance which is novel and interesting but may not be so great for repeated customers.
