Service was overall alright. The ambience was great. Food was enjoyable and the dishes had well Malay cuisine food, which was fine with us. I would come again if I am looking to treat people or eat with people who aren’t used to Malaysian food.

This traditional Malay food restaurant is an excellent choice for foreigners looking to experience authentic Malay cuisine. The rich flavors and diverse dishes provide a true taste of the local culture. I personally prefer the dishes to be served a bit spicier and on a hot plate, which enhances the overall dining experience. 😊

Memorable experience with unique local cuisine 🍽️. We came last Tuesday for a company lunch. The restaurant was very beautiful and perfect for photos 📸. Their seafood, including fish, tiger prawns, and cuttlefish, was very fresh and generously sized 🐟🦐🦑. The chicken satay was very tender and delicious. Be aware that some dishes can be quite spicy 🌶️. Overall, it was a great experience and an excellent place to come with a group 👍.

Had a great time dining here. Service was overall alright. Food was enjoyable and the dishes had well balanced, tamed flavors compared to the usual Malaysian and Indonesian food, which was fine with us. But some dishes were a bit over complicated in my opinion. Coconut custard dessert hindered coconut flavor due to its egg yolk and brulee. I expected it to showcase more coconut. I would come again if I am looking to treat people or eat with people who aren’t used to Malaysian food.

While dining at this Michelin Guide-listed restaurant, my expectations were high, given its esteemed accolade. The food, while good, did not quite meet the anticipated Michelin standards. The offerings were definitely above average, yet they lacked the ‘wow’ factor often associated with such prestigious recognition. I did enjoy specific dishes, notably the fish curry, which was flavorful and well-prepared, and the chap chye, a delightful mix of textures and tastes that was a standout on the menu. These dishes were well-executed and would cater to anyone looking for good quality, hearty meals. Overall, the restaurant serves commendable food and provides a pleasant dining experience, but it may not satisfy those seeking the extraordinary culinary adventures typically expected from a Michelin-rated venue.
