Established in 1996, Rama V is an award-winning Thai restaurant set within a standalone bungalow in the city centre, hidden away from KL’s hustle and bustle. It is known for welcoming diners in an opulent and cosy ambiance combined with an air of tranquillity and commendable hospitality.
Be charmed by its sophisticated setting but by its serene-like ambience inspired by ‘Modern Meets Thai’, where traditional Thai décor meets the elegance of the modern world. With a capacity of up to 180 pax, Rama V is the perfect and unique venue to host your intimate, special occasion.

YESS!! I would def recommend Rama V. Their food is great with fair price. Love the environment, especially with the special decoration with special arrangement for the birthday party. Super friendly staffs. I would love to come back any time sooner.

Had our wedding luncheon here back in March 2024. Imran and Shariff were great in dealing with our requirements and requests, making the process stress-free. The food was great - our wedding guests are still talking about it until today! Highly recommended especially for small scale wedding.

Been here for dinner. Parking available and they have valet. Along with the amazing dishes and drinks, the ambiance stood out. They have attentive staff and fast service. It's a bit pricey if you compare to other thai cuisine restaurant, but the great quality and comfortable atmosphere make it worth it. Highly recommended restaurant to visit, if you crave for the tastiest Thai food.

After so many years, it is still a beautiful restaurant with excellent service for Thai cuisine. They have changed the menu, I can’t find my favourite otak-otak. The sizzling seafood plate doesn’t taste nice. For dessert, the mango is sour and mini portion. The coconut dressing has no flavourful fragrance and the rice is too much compare with the mango portion. Sorry to say so much on the dessert because normally it won’t go wrong with this but as a fine dine restaurant, shouldn’t serve sour mango, it spoiled the ending.
